What techniques could be used to identify the number of zinc atoms present within a protein?
Some techniques that I could think of are PAR-PMPS assay, crystallography, and atomic absorption.
I would really appreciate any suggestions.
Yes, AAS technique also can be used to find the number of zinc atoms after determining its mass in the mass of protein taken for estimation .

@kenneth They are not in crystalline form but located individually inside proteins.
@Sindhu I would like to find an alternative for AAS as it may not give enough precision.
