What strategy can best create and maintain a lasting relationship between a teacher and a student?

Listening each other carefully and trust between both of them is very crucial aspect..
Between teacher & student it is one kind of loving bond so that student for his learning & teaching can play his contribution very freely due to the relation between teacher & student . It is in this line some years back I have expressed views of similar nature which I submit herewith for your kind perusal .
To a student teacher is as good as father so to say a founder father whose initial training ,advice , suggestion ,guideline remain the stepping stone of the way of his career development .
Apart from the teaching powder & method of the teacher where students receive impressive interest for his study but with this teacher care loving interest for students with the knowledgeable parting of the influence on students & teacher should find besides the study career other interest of the student whenever if it is necessary in the interest & progress of student teacher should call the meeting with the parents exchange the views of each other so that teachers may have a better line for student .

In general, the relationship between teachers and students depends on the presence of high value of respect and humanity. ِِWhen anyone has the opportunity to become a teacher, he should always think to be a good model for the students.
A teacher must have genuine interest in his/her students besides being the master of his / her subject and also be able to deliver the lessons effectively.
I still remember these words from a student of mine: "you are the only teacher who cares." Certainly, these words mean different things for different people, in different contexts. But in teaching context, they mean one thing: for certain students, teaching is only meaningful when it goes for the heart and the mind.
Positive teacher-student relationships help students meet these needs. Teachers offer feedback to students to support their feelings of competence. Teachers who know their students' interests and preferences, and show regard and respect for these individual differences, bolster students' feelings of autonomy....copied
