I am currently conducting analysis on my qPCR data. I have determined the separate PCR efficiency and determined the fold values for my respective groups (Live vs Naive, Live vs Saline, Heat killed vs Naive, Heat killed vs Saline) with an N of 6 for each group. However, I am now unsure of how to proceed. After reading online, I believe I am meant to use a non-parametric statistical test such as the Mann Whitney U test but I am unsure of what I would be comparing the fold change values to for each sample within my groups.
