I have a cif file available for CAU-10-H (Al based MOF with Benzene di carboxylic acid as the linker), I would like to replace the linker by 2,5 Furandicarboxylic acid to obtain crystal structure of MIL-160.
I am trying to use Gaussview to visualize the cif structure of CAU-10-H and modify the linker from 6 member ring to 5 member ring.
The method is not effective and not sure if I am getting correct structure and there is no option to save the file with cif extension.
I heard of Materials studio but I donot have license/access to Material studio.
Is there any soft ware that I can use for modifying CAU-10-H cif file to obtain MIL-160 cif file.
Thank You
