Hi Clara. I think it is necessary to study the social conditions of possibility to achieve the sustainability of the fisheries. Much has been studied about social capital in comanagement, for example, it would be an alternative to review those studies to design your questions. However, I would add questions through a relational approach, about the social and economic situation of your participants and thus, once you obtain the data, compare if the position of your participants influences representations and actions on sustainability.
I reflected on these ideas based on my studies on the participation of artisanal fishermen in my country (Chile) in fisheries management policies.

As it is for general public, I would start by questions that are more oriented to socio-economics, e.g.:
-Do you eat/buy seafood? How often?
-Are you aware of the current techniques of fishing/ seafood harvesting?
-Do you know the concept of fish stocks?
-If no, fish stock is [enter definition here]. Knowing that do you agree it is important to better manage fiheries?
-Do you know what is sustainable fishing?
-Are you likely to get informed on the origin and fishing techniques of seafood/fish before purchasing?

If sustainable development is a goalk and we always look after innoivation in fisheries management, to ponder on the relations between implementation of fishing policies and sustainable fishing is worth necessary. So, to what extent does existing institutional and legal framework build on synergies with the established management system and the implementation of management measures for sustainable fisheries?
1. What type of gears that are used in specific fishing grounds. 2. Determine the fish selectivity of some of the gears. 3. What are the endangered fish species in the specific areas for investigation
