I'm conducting a rapid evidence assessment (REA) on the impact of health education on Diabetic foot ulcer prevention. I have selected 7 studies for my evidence. These studies have various methodology - RCT, longitudinal study, structured assessment, qualitative research and use of structured questionnaire. My question is, how do I do a quality appraisal on the reasearches since they have different methodology?Whch quality appraisal tool can I use?

Given the diversity in the designs for your studies, I doubt if you will find any one appraisal tool that will cover them all. In addition, the use of appraisal tools is rather controversial within qualitative research, given the wide variety of research goals, designs and methods that are used in that field.
