I am newbie in Plaxis 3d. I am trying to model a embankment for fly ash pond. I am facing the following error "Ultimate state not reached in groundwater flow analysis". The manual is suggesting to check the input parameters. Can anyone help me to understand what the error is about and what are all the parameters which i have to check for rectifying this error.
Hello..The first step is you need to check input parameters like material properties of soil or flay ash used for embankment construction including the constitutive model used for the simulation. In the next important aspect sequences of analyses are carried out in a phased manner..here, there may be an error in one phase or you could say there is no continuity b/w one phase to another phase and finally you have to verify the convergence criteria..I feel the main point in the preprocessing stage itself like load application and material properties to be verfied..Finally, check your step by step analysis sequences assign to the program is correct or not..ok al the best..
Karthigeyan . S Thank you very much sir, have found the issue. I have fed in the wrong water level data. Got the results once after feeding in the correct input water level. Thanks again sir.
