A final year MSc student conducting research on Security for MANET networks: optimizing the handover authentication protocol. Currently working on pair-hand protocol, using OMNET++  simulator to enhance performance in terms of delay and security association when nodes visited the new point of attachment.

What method  of analysis I can use to benchmark the improved protocol  (pair-hand) from that drive in the original version?
