Two years ago I conducted a delphi study of technology professionals asking them what they thought we should be paying attention to ever the next ten years, and asking them "what they knew that no one else knew." Most respondents were quite modest in their responses, but the answers received were excellent, and many of the interviewees identified trends and issues that have become increasingly important in the mainstream media and among technology scholars and professionals over the last year. I plan to replicate the study with some changes next year. But for now, I would like to open the question to others on ResearchGate and ask, what do you know a lot about that most people do not? What should we be paying more attention to? What is the future of the internet and social media?
