I am trying to simulate the coiling that happens to cure cerebral aneurysms and I was able to find the equation relating porosity and permeability for a bed of particles (which is not my case) (attached). I need a similar equation for the spiral mesh or any other approximation.
If anyone could give me leads and references on where I can find the equation for the spiral mesh coil that would be very helpful.

this issue is still debated. In attach I send you a paper in which you can find a model that links permeability and porosity in fibrous materials. I think that probably it can help you.
