What is the efficient way to sacrifice fish for carcass analysis?

I am developing a feed on my own. How can I sacrifice the fishes after the feeding trials without causing any damage?

At the end of feeding trial, anesthetize the fish (can use MS 222) take necessary data and preserved the carcasses for further analysis (if any)
