I would like to cross check the optical as well as electrochemical band gap of my material. In the case of materials showing multiple reduction /oxidation onset potentials in cyclic voltammogram, which one we have to take into consideration to find the electrochemical bandgap?

I dnt know much more about it, But i have a paper which can help you.
I also think that the electrochemical bandgap is slightly larger than the corresponding optical bandgap due to the interfacial barrier for charge injection.
