You are right DR EMAD, we can say that Expert systems are designed to solve complex problems by reasoning about knowledge, represented primarily as if–then rules rather than through conventional procedural code.
The expert system is a computer application that uses a set of principles based on human knowledge to resolve problems that requires human expertise, whereas Artificial Intelligence is a practical mechanism that enable computers to imitate the human reasoning process.
