I am SaiRam, doing PhD in structural engineering at Indian Institute of technology Bombay, India. I am working in strengthening of bridge piers using FRP materials. In this work, I am using confined concrete 01 material model to simulate FRP behavior in OpenSees. I am having question about confined conrete ultimate strain as one of the argument in confined concrete 01 model. My question is whether the confined concrete ultimate strain includes the strain due to FRP or not. How to calculate the confined concrete ultimate strain?. Please clarify my question.
