To collect research data, I am looking for an underwater camera that can last for more than 3 hours under the water.

It would be necessary to be able to film during several hours (So a GoPro or equivalent is not suitable) with a camera fixed on a pole under water with 3 or 4 m of depth. My problem is rather to know what I have to use technically with a colored water and limited transparency (IR or not, lighting or not, type of camera).

It would be helpful to know the maximum depth and period of submersion that you require.
There are some pretty decent consumer grade action cameras that can be used underwater. If you want to shoot for less than an hour and less than 30m then you could use some GoPro models directly. However, your constraint of more than 3 hours of underwater shooting is difficult.
1. Most DSLRs don't have 3 hours shooting time in total and can shoot videos upto 30 mins each(with some exceptions like Panasonic GH5 which can record as long as card and battery last). You will also need waterproof housing for camera and battery pack for the DSLR.
2. Action cameras like Gopro 6 with waterproof housing will go upto 60m. Again you need battery pack and custom made housing to incorporate both camera and battery pack. Gopro without battery pack will last 1.5 hours and will go 40m without housing.
Xiaomi 4k action camera has better battery at 2.5 hours but inferior image stabilization and slightly inferior image quality. Waterproof case is mandatory under water.
3. iPhone 7 onwards and Samsung Galaxy S7 and beyond are water-resistant phones that you may already have or you could buy. Some people (including me) have used them underwater without any issues, however with a suitable case it can be taken 30-40m underwater. The best things about using a phone as an underwater camera are getting an immaculate battery life, smooth stabilization, 4k video and bright screens to monitor the recording. Not to mention, it is way more handy than carrying a heavy and bulky camera.

Ok, in that case the seaviewer cameras seem to be right fit for your work. The website mentions IR lighting for dark places underwater; you could ask their support team in this regard.
