Kindly tell me what are different satellite rainfall and temperature products are nowadays available? What are their spatial-temporal resolution and accuracy. What is the best product? How that data can be obtained?
check with APHRODITE (Asia Precipitation Highly Resolved Observational Data Integration Towards Evaluation of Water Resources), this contains daily precipitation data from 1951-2007 covering many parts of Asia.
You can use NASA's Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) data which comes in 0.25 degree resolution with global coverage. For thermal studies, you can use Landsat 8.
For temperature related studies it will be too coarse for any kind of terrestrial investigation. With ~1km resolution it provides, it is mostly suitable for oceanic studies.
Hi, its important to note that the performance of satellite-based rainfall products may be different from one region to the other. You may therefore want to examine their skill over your region of interest before settling on any one of them. This link may be useful: http://iridl.ldeo.columbia.edu/
Hi The Water Cycle Integrator of the eartH2Observe project have several gauge interpolation, gauge adjusted satellite and reanalysis precipitation and temperature datasets at http://www.wci.earth2observe.eu/ However, validation of precipitataion is important before application, not only by just comparing the data with observed time series (with raingauge data or hydrological modelling) but also comparing certain features of the time series is important. If you use Precipitation from remote sensing, you can improve its performance using local raingauge. The merging algorithm descrived in this work have proved to be succesful in reducing the remote sensed field error. In the paper the parameters of the merging are analyzed against the raingauges density so that one defines their value with the features of the local raingauge network and, therefore, one will not need to perform a calibration procedure.

beside the products mentioned by the preceding answers (of course TRMM-MPA and also the respective newer satellite based precipitation product GPM-imerg are covering Pakistan) there are now also combination products combining satellite, gauge and reanalysis data by the EU Joint Research Centre for precipitation (http://www.gloh2o.org/) and for air temperature (https://www.nature.com/articles/sdata2018246#data-records).
Hi, You can extent the time frame of data that you have and improve its accuracy by merging information. Want to improve the performance of your hydrological model on a scarce data basin?!! We introduce you to our new article where a satellite-reanalysis-gauge merging algorithm is detailed. Article Improving Rainfall Fields in Data-Scarce Basins: Influence o...
