Different ecosystems support differ in their extant of biodiversity

because of differences in micro-habitat diversity and environmental heterogeneity.

Ecosystem diversity mean at a particular geographical location various ecosystems found for eg in India composes of forest ecosystem, desert, ocean ecosystem etc

Biodiversity means variety of organisms in an ecosystem

So both have variety of organisms
