The phenomenon of having a connected real and virtual world is so booming these days that different countries, industries or even companies try to choose different names in order to brand and differentiate their services and products, like Industrial Internet in the U.S Vs. Industry 4.0 in Germany.
However, they more or less refer to the same concept which is as I mentioned earlier connecting real and virtual world together by using internet technologies.
IoE (Internet of Everything) is the way Cisco called IoT concept extended with Data Analytics performed close to devices instead of being demanded to Cloud. This latter concept is also called Fog Computing.
The Internet of Everything (IoE) is a broad term that refers to devices and consumer products connected to the Internet and outfitted with expanded digital features. It is a philosophy in which technology's future is comprised of many different types of appliances, devices and items connected to the global Internet.
The term is somewhat synonymous with the Internet of Things (IoT). The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects, devices, vehicles, buildings and other items which are embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and exchange data.
