However, teachers are the driving force behind any institution. Ignoring their needs inevitably leads to failure.

When teachers experience burnout and stress due to inadequate facilities, irregular or insufficient salaries, and the absence of policies that support their happiness and well-being, the consequences are severe. To illustrate, if the engine of a car is broken, can the car function? Similarly, neglecting teachers results in negative impacts on both the school's reputation and student learning outcomes. Ultimately, this lack of support threatens the institution's sustainability, hindering long-term success and growth.

There a many factors that influence the turnover. The first and powerful one is burnout. Working with kids can be very demanding, stressful and exhausting. A primary school teacher, for example, has to know almost everything at the least basic level (math, geography, history, arts, science etc.), and to parent the kids in a way that they seem to play while they learn, they learn while they develop and progress at the best of their behavioral level. Then, salary, benefits, work conditions (schedule, materials, tools that help to improve your learning and teaching, pauses, class luminosity, management availability, training accessibility, holidays and others), house proximity, team cooperation and collaboration (helps to adapt in the first place), are important to reduce the turnover.

And, about the influence of turnover on the school organization: I believe in a positive curve of building up an organizational citizenship, meaning that the more you retain the employees, the more your organization will be performant and excel, bringing wonderful results. Teachers will integrate into their teaching, training, culture, deja-vu, and they'll become savvy, responsible, assumed and part of the big school community.
