The non sparking tools are used in explosive environment.Mostly used material in India in tool industry is Aluminium bronze, but it has magnetic permeability as 1.2 as standard requirement of 1.02. Presently new material proposed namely copper-Titanium; but this have more impurities in tune of 1% against 0.3% requirement of standard specification.

The impurity content of a material can either reduce its mechanical or magnetic property. The upward increase in the amount of impurity may have adverse effect on the magnetic property.
