Erratum and corrigendum are not the same. They have different uses. Erratum and corrigendum are terms used in publishing industry and in legal documents. Erratum (plural errata) is an added page in a printed work after discovering errors once the printing is completed but before binding. On the contrary, corrigendum (plural corrigenda) refers to text or material that is to be corrected in a printed work after publication.
