What do you feel is better?
I am a blogger at a website as well as I research on stuffs, I found publishing the articles on my website easier that following the time consuming review procedure most journals observe.
The best part is that my study is on OPEN access for all people to view and refer to (if I post it on my blog) but on the contrary after submitting the manuscript to a journal. they're either subscription based or require registration or require me to pay a lot to keep it open access.
Please recommend your opinion on this! Would be glad to learn about new method to get the research work published.

Publish in an open access scientific journal. A blog may not have the rigor of language that implies an academic article, and does not have institutional recognition. I think the blog is an alternative for urgent communications, opinions or texts that can be academic but do not comply with the extension.
Open scientific publications may be indexed, have issn, be evaluated by peers ... well, they are institutionally valid and improve academic visibility.

For the sake of reliability of your results, it is better to publish in a science journal. If your paper was not refereed, other researchers will not be sure of its value, and probably will not cite it.
