I am acutally not getting what is the real notion of lifetime units here. (mentione din RFC 6550).

Default Lifetime: 8-bit unsigned integer. This is the lifetime that is used as default for all RPL routes. It is expressed in units of Lifetime Units, e.g., the default lifetime in seconds is (Default Lifetime) * (Lifetime Unit). Lifetime Unit: 16-bit unsigned integer. Provides the unit in seconds that is used to express route lifetimes in RPL. For very stable networks, it can be hours to days.
