My doctoral dissertation was conducted in two stages, including a mixed study and an intervention on school violence. In the first phase, we obtained the factors affecting violence among students based on the whole school approach and social cognitive theory. In this study, the status of elements proposed by UNESCO to control and reduce violence and aggression in schools was assessed. In the qualitative section, data were collected through review of relevant documents and interviews with education staff at the policy and executive levels. In the intervention phase, based on the findings of the first phase, an intervention was performed to reduce violence in students, which had acceptable results.
Restructuring cultural and sports activities and adopting motivation to participate in them, which greatly helps in disbursing the extra energy of these students.
