I want to know the scopes of Mechatronic Engineering : Bangladesh perspective.
Mechatronics word is made from the combination of words mechanics and electronics, so it is a field of science which mainly includes mechanical and electronic engineering.
Mechatronics is the merging of classical mechanical or electrical engineering. Mechatronics combines electronics and mechanical engineering. As a result the scope and potential is virtually unlimited. This combination is used in the design of products and manufacturing. Application of mechatronics results in synchronizing a mechanical structure with its control, using electronic systems. An industrial robot is a good example of a mechatronics. The aim of mechatronics is a design process that unifies the disciplines of engineering.
The fundamental shift of replacing mechanical functions with hardware and software has been the driving force behind the field of mechatronics. As a way to address market demands for more complex products, mechatronics engineering is used to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Mechatronics has large scope for engineers of all fields. Robotics Engineer, Electro-mechanical Engineer, Simulation Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Electronics Technician, Project Engineer, and Systems Engineer are some positions students can take up later in their careers.
Mechatronics is important because it enhances functionality and features. It brings more efficiency, adds intelligence to design of the system, by which efficiency of the system improves, and reduces cost. Mechanical solutions are expensive when compared to mechatronics solutions, which lowers cost, mechatronic solution improves design time, product size and reliability. It is also more user-friendly and safer to use. It uses microcontroller, by which precision, position, speed, flow rate, and variables can be controlled. Using mechatronic solution increases reliability. Mechanical designs get damaged over time whereas mechatronic design is more reliable. An example is the odometer present in the cars.mStudying mechatronic has a good career scope. The demand of nanotechnology, biomechatronics, and robotics in increasing day by day in developing countries. Also, the salary package offered to mechatronic engineers is very high.
The study of mechatronic systems can be divided into the following areas of specialty:

2. Sensors and Actuators
3. Signals and Systems
4. Computers and Logic Systems
5. Software and Data Acquisition
Correct. It is not limited to the system modeling and sensor/actuators. In devices where intrumentation simulation required with mechanical and electrical variable parameters also mechatronic can be used.
