This is in consideration that the stream of nitrogen gas will be introduced during initiation, the polymerization using waterbath or oven, and the centrifugation of the tubes after the polymerization process is completed.

For Molecularly Imprinted Polymers preparation we require glass ampoules (soda glass) or tube of 20-25 ml capacity (for lab scale production) and to that a long capillary tube is connected as shown in the figure (Attachment), this long neck tube facilitate nitrogen flushing. It looks like an empty lactometer or hydrometer. If it is not available, then locally it can be fabricated from any glassware manufacturing unit.
