This is a very general question, there are multiple factors that you need to consider while designing or choosing your system, such as voltage, battery type, power level and ... but in each category, switching frequency, efficiency and termination current are important factors.

Power factor shall be 1 and efficiency >95%, THD 50 DegC or depends on the place where you want to use the charger.

Cooling of the charger shall be good.

Charge profile shall meet the battery requirements (Voltage, Current etc.)

Ability to work with monitoring systems using OCPP protocol.

Modular construction (depends on the charger size).

User interface i.e. touch screen, push button, emergency switch etc.
