Thus, current trends revolve around machine-to-machine authentication (M2M), end-to-end security between IoT devices, the use of biometric identifiers and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in IoT healthcare application security. Additionally, the use of machine learning for the detection of intrusions and attacks is a very hot topic in the field IoT security .
