About 50% of research papers are never read and 90% never being cited. Social media is a powerful tool to increase the reach of our research papers and increase their chance of get citations by improving their visibility.
I have started promoting my papers in ResearchGate, Linked-in, Academia, Mendeley and Facebook. What are other social media platforms that can be used for this purpose?

If research paper is useful for masses, there is no need for any publicity. Citation is main criteria for popularity of a research paper.
