I am trying to analyse vibration results obtained from a experimental test (shaker test) done on a component which has moving parts.
I need to understand (or control ) the vibrations of the moving parts so that when the component is operated at high frequencies there is no damage/wear in the other parts.
can you please help me with any case studies/papers or reference books to understand and analyse vibration results.
I'll be grateful for any inputs.

if I understand well, the problem is that when your component is operating it produces vibration at a high frequency that dangerously excites a moving part, meaning that this part becomes resonant and can be damaged, right?
If you cannot change the vibration frequency nor the vulnerable part, then you can try adding some mass to the moving part, so that its resonance frequency goes down.

How do i know that the problem is only due to resonance and which moving part resonates first or which resonant frequency is dangerous. As component is excited at higher frequencies, vibrations are non linear.
There is also a difference between eigen frequencies from experimental results(1st eig freq around 70-80 Hz) and results from ANSYS (starts at140 Hz).

Thanks for your reply. The entire component is excited in vertical direction with frequency sweep from 0 - 400 Hz
The green part can rotate around vertical axes and move in vertical direction.

I have done modal analysis using SIMPACK and got results comparable with experimental results.
what are all the possible reasons for wear and how to understand the vibrations of the moving part(green part)..?
