In many jurisdictions the range of instruments to control the spread of Covid-19 in higher-risk environments such as indoor closed spaces is still limited to a small set of standard measures, such as distancing, PPE and disinfection. While without doubt important, as the recent data shows, these measures may not be sufficient to halt the spread in the normal day-to-day operation of the society.
We would like to propose and discuss additional technology-based approaches that can be effective in controlling the spread in these environments based on intelligent organization and management of the environment, specifically: control of environmental factors; intelligent organization of indoor spaces; wide-spread; ongoing automated testing. Some of such approaches were suggested earlier in the preprints below. Interest, comments, discussion and opportunities for cooperative research and development is appreciated.

A digitized or electronic logbook system using Android and web-based application that is design to fast-track contact tracing in local establishments and offices for possible Covid-19 cases would be useful. This will be done thru giving Electronic Cards (with QR codes) to each household especially to employees that are often travelling. The Cards will contain essential data of the holders including address and contact numbers. In this way, an easier contact tracing will be done, including automatically alerts the holder thru text or email of possible close contact and advise to visit closest medical centers for testing. The close contact person will be tag as Covid Suspect.
In addition, if the Tag suspect will try to enter the establishments, the scanner will notify or alarm the establishment that she/he is not allowed to enter.
