I would like to synthesis a shape memory polymer or is there any commercial version that I can buy it directly because I need it for my medical devices research ?
Vegetable oil based polymer are good candidates for you .

your memory polymer is called ( smart polymer) so, you can preferably used ( ACRYLAMIDE ISOPROPYL ).

Typical examples of polymers which can exhibit the shape memory effect include: poly(acrylamide-co-acrylic acid), polyurethane, poly-L-lactic acid and polycaprolactone (PCL) diacrylate. For more information see attached file.
