Dear colleagues,
what is your approach for remote education during COVID-19 pandemic in terms of timing? What do you prefer?
(1) Teaching live with classes pre-established at certain date (e.g. every Wednesday morning); or (2) Recording and uploading your classes to the students?
In case of both, could you split (%) your approach to Illustrate how much you use of each strategy (e.g. 90% 1 and 10% 2)?
In short, I see option 1 as an alternative to solving questions right on time, while option 2 enables more active learning (flipped classroom, why not?) But I would like to know your perspective on the topic.

It is possible synchronized online teaching possible due to the Corona Pandamic situations but it needs the smart classrooms for students and the teacher can deliver his lecture through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, 365 and Google meet, etc.
A synchronized offline class is possible that the students could watch the videos of the teacher's lecturing that the students need only internet facilities.
Anyhow, it is new teaching methodology that both they have to adhere to to maintain the social students among the students also. Already, western countries are practiced but the developing countries have to amend this new practice in order to escape from the pandemic situation.

This is for me not necessarily an either/or question as both forms can be useful, especially in combination; i.e. asynchronous resources can be valuable in preparation to synchronous classes etc.

I've practised digital teaching at the university of Bremen, department of teacher training, since the beginning of May 2020 after the university's complete shutdown. My experiences and individual evaluation are:
1) Leading digital (asynchronous classes) lessons / seminars with students
whom I have met before in present / live (synchronous classes) lessons is
easier than with those who are "new" participants.
2) Using "zoom" - for which my university had bought the rights - was a
challenge at first, because my teaching involves students' interaction,
activities, presentations, reflexion and feedback ... all kinds of sharing and
group work.
Transforming my three-dimensional teaching into a two-dimensional one is
hardly possible and less fulfilling. Reason: successful teaching is based on
personal contact, on mutual trust and a successful working alliance. These
can be created more easily in face-to-face situations. Interpersonal
relationships are the basis of teaching / learning. Using digital tools can
support some elements of teaching / learning, but these tools cannot
substitute live contact.
3) I regard, however, getting to know and using these new tools as part of my
professional development. Sometimes it has even been fun to experiment
with them.
4) A serious question for me is the use of all the data ("big data"). Who or
which companies can make use of all that? This is also a legal problem.

I would certainly use both since there is no sufficient evidence that favours either approach.
Dear Ademir Franco , I think we must regard connectivity. For example, according to my bad connectivity I prefer asynchronous classes.
A mix of both the forms work best in countries where access to technology is an issue.
