Thus far, program educational outcomes of most universities are academic and knowledge based, with an emphasis on cognitive skills, communication skills, teamwork, leadership, ethics and lifelong learning. Does the 21st century (with its religious and social turmoils and the advent of technology and artificial intelligence) require universities (or even schools and colleges) to include human values and emotional intelligence into its curriculum so that we have a new breed of people who can cope with the needs of current century?

Yes surely, Human values and emotional intelligence should also be put as educational outcomes of University education. The curriculum, semester wise pattern, more number of subjects, MOOCS courses, projects, internships apart fro that in technical education also other subjects like professional ethics, history etc. are coming. The student should equip with the subjects and his human values and his emotional intelligence has also be tested. Hence rightly pointed out of all the outcomes put in University education, this also to be put and is necessary and everything seems to be very very important these days.
