The internet infrastructure has expanded in the world. Today in the world there are 4,388 billion active internet users, representing 57% of the world population. In Mexico, 76.6% of the population is an internet user according to the report of the Federal Institute of Transparency. Connected users produce data traffic in the order of Zettabits with a tendency to increase. Ordinary use security cameras, such as those of the D-Link DCS-8600LH family, offer features such as event activation or time programming, they do not allow to know or identify risks and risks. The integration in these types of systems is provided through a DVR recorder or some systems associated on the internet. These systems do not include advanced features, but the escalation in security aspects, dramatically increases costs and data traffic, even being exclusive to large airports, security companys, etc. Today not exists autonomous things for detection of suspicious behaviors and alert to prevent intrusion or damage, all in context of low resource settings. New hardware need to be integrated and then can apply modern technics for treat the input in a efficient way to empower that devices.

Therefore, research into low-cost security components and intelligent computing features will provide a new level of security.
