I am a Ph.D scholar from JMI.
The topic of my research is time use study of digital devices used by children.Its a cross sectional survey.Digital devices used were tablets/smartphones.Since no tablet users were found in schools of Delhi I have developed a questionnaire for after school time spent on Tablet PC(TPC).After doing my pilot study and checking the reliability and validity of questionnaire ,after doing quan survey qualitative interview also of some principal and teachers were suggested. .
After searching a lot I find a school in Delhi where this pilot project of hp grade vii and viii were taught with help of tablet pc. I took the interviews of principal and teachers.
My query is will the population of my study is finite i.e. the tab users of XYZ school.
or the population is infinite i.e.Tab users of Delhi .How can I justify since the questionnaire developed was on the basis of tablet users of Delhi-adolescents.I took my respondents from schools .But no sampling frame is available for tablet users in schools .so my population will become infinite.
Another problem is how can I calculate sample size ????

What questions can I ask in qualitative survey of introduction of tablet PC in school system????
