I am reviewing qualitative case study research and publications using this methodology to design a framework for my PhD on community participation in rural health. Would anyone be able to recommend journal publications that provide good, rigorous and theoretically sound examples of studies that utilise this methodology? My ideas align with Robert Stake (1995) and Sharan Merriam (2009).
Anything by H. Russell Bernard is good on qualitative research. I also recommendation works by Janet Fitchen on rural homelessness.
