Why in some articles when I calculate the Soil Quality Index, when I add up the Si*Wi I don't get the SQI result that is displayed in the table. For example, in the article entitled "Effects of land use types on soil quality dynamics in a tropical sub-humid
ecosystem, western Ethiopia", the sum of si*wi does not give the SQI value shown in table 5 of the article.

you are using PCA to build the Wi or you are using a framework that stablish those parameters exactly if you dont have all parameters and their repetitions your calculation are going to be wrong. you can fallow my thesis " soil quality index for the Yauco and San Antón series"
