Dear all,

I was asked to carry out a neuropsychological assessment in West Africa (Sierra Leone) - ADULTS (not children).

I am thinking of relying primarily on behavioural, observation, self-reports and third parties' reports as I am concerned that the lack of norms, possible poor face validity of our (Western) cognitive tests and issues with translation would become the rest results completely invalid and therefore it would be unethical to use them.

Is anyone able to provide me any information on any study or even professional article considering these dilemmas?

many thanks

Linda
