Please consult me on how to functionalize porous material surface with NH group from amine, urea or hydrazine instead of sol gel method. I already have the porous material in powder form. I also have to make sure that the method that i used can produce functionalize porous material which can be used in solution without leaching.

My porous material is TiO2. A lot of procedures in the literature that i found is about sol gel method and impregnation method. I'm interested in impregnation method due to existing powder TiO2 that i have but the problem is i'm afraid that the NH group funtionalize by that method will leach out when i dispersed in solution.

I had go through to some literature and what i'm understand is physically amines adsorbed may limit the conditions to be regenerated compared to covalently tethered amine adsorbents. Is it the covalently tethered amine adsorbents also can be stable in solution?

what is your opinion about functionalization of the TiO2 surface by grafting organic aminosilanes by direct condensation and hydrolysis methods? Is it the bonding are stable in water?
