I have gone through that book and found helpful but looking for more about anatomy of organs of snake. I guess in your project some work may be on same aspects what I am looking for.

A good starting point would be "Biology of the Reptilia" from Carl Gans.

The whole collection (22 volumes) are available for free at http://carlgans.org/table-contents/

It contains a lot of information not only on morphology, but physiology, ecology, neurology, etc.
