Despite its importance in watershed hydrology and management, until now I know CN-model is a manually operated model. If there are some experiences I would like to hear from the group.
I'm not sure I fully understood your question. If you are asking if there is a software that uses CN model then the answer is yes, probably more than one. HEC-HMS is an example. If your question is a software that download the soil and other data and give you CN then the answer is yes again. BASIN (HSPF) is an example and a group in UT Austin also developed a code that automate the process in HEC-HMS using ArcMap.
@Tesfaye Mebrate Lemma With HEC-GeoHMS toolbar using ArcMap you can produce CNGrid......you need Land use and Soil characteristic map and also DEM......
Dear Amin Kiaghadi and Arup Chakraborty, thank you for you response. I know there are many hydrology models that uses CN as one component in their simulation. This is simply because other models seek to use the advantages of the model. But, my wish was instead of getting it as a component in some other model, I wish to get and use the independently coded CN-model software.
