Is it possible to derive location probability from mobility data provided by underwater mobile acoustics sensor network?

Suppose we know the mobility model of an underwater node. Is it possible to drive the location after some time from the mobility data provided by mobility pattern?

Well, considering that you have a stochastic mobility pattern you can calculate the probability distribution of being in different locations given that you know the historical movement. However, in order to know for certain you would have to have a deterministic mobility pattern and perfect knowledge of the history.
