I have a question. Are the functions implemented in the csv files or in MATLAB? If you only read the data from the csv and process the function in MATLAB, I propse to create an matlab script using a parallized for-loop (parfor).

I would suggest something along the following lines:

s=dir('*.csv');

for k=1:length(s)

a=importdata(s(k).name);

x=a.data; % x contains your data

% call your functions below

f1

f2

etc.

end

A simple loop as follows could help, provided your filenames are indexed from 1 to N (e.g; toto1.csv, toto2.csv, toto3.csv, ..., totoN.csv) and provided your files have no headers (only numerical data).

cd('C:\matlab');   %set your working directory, where files are stored

for n=1:N     %starts the loop

filename=(['toto',num2str(n),'.csv']);   %define your filename according to the file index

file=dlmread(filename);    %load your file

var1=file(:,1);     %define your variables according to columns

var2=file(:,2);

(your functions )  %start your process

(your plots)

end  %ends the loop

If you have many columns and/or if you think it would be easier to keep headers in the original csv file rather than directly defining variables in the script, you could also try to use the 'dataset' function... but it is less straightforward.

I would like to add following to above suggestions for automatically saving ur plots.

After plot functions in the loop-

saveas(gcf,figfilename,'jpg')

clf

U can define the figfilenames as per input file names in beginning.

num_files = length(files);

for i=1:num_files

data=csvread(files(i).name)

end

You can use the above code  to read all the file in a folder and then apply any algo and save it to matlab.

I use this way to concatenate many csv files in one matrix

ad = dir('*csv')

d=length(ad);

for i = 1:length(ad) ;

filename=([ad(i).name]);

num = csvread( filename);

data=[data;num];
