I came across a paper (I forgot the reference though), where it was written that the allocated 75MHz spectrum (5.850~5.925GHz band) by far exceeds the requirements for VANET safety applications. Is that true? If so, then the surplus bandwidth is justified for the emerging VANET clouds where VANET is merging with cloud computing. Has anyone came across the same argument?

Thank you so much for your kind concern. Your reply really helpful and yeah you are absolutely right about the bandwidth. I will go through the paper you shared with me. I have been working on Vehicular clouds for almost 2 years now, and there are still numerous challenges that need to be addressed.
Dear Umair Ibrahim, that would be my pleasure to work with you. To date, there are only few papers in count, about Vehicular clouds. I have been working on VANETs for the last 6 years and mainly from security and privacy standpoint.
