I am trying find out where Cidex OPA is recognized as a disinfectant of dental equipment in the European Dentistry. The recognition of the use of this chemical disinfectant I believe is depending on the individual country, but can anyone recommend a database or website or institute covering this matter?

Christina, CIDEX OPA has been recommended as desifentante for endoscopes, that are considered a semi critical article since it enters into contact with non wounded mucous membranes.
In this way, I believe that can it can be applied to other critical semi critical articles as some used in dentistry. It does not means that there isn't other products that do the same or better.
Also, CIDEX OPA has a CE mark, that means that the product meets the requirements of the European Community.
Another point to be addressed is the interaction of CIDEX OPA with the article to be disinfected.
