IoT security is the technology area concerned with safeguarding connected devices and networks in the internet of things (IoT). IoT involves adding internet connectivity to a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals and/or people.

This architecture consists of three layers: Perception Layer, Network Layer, and Application layer (Figure 3). A brief description of each layer is given: Perception Layer: the main task of the perception layer is to perceive the physical properties of things around us that are part of the IoT.
