I am working on strain of bacillus viz. tequilensis. I have gone through many papers and PUBmed databases, but I'm unable to find much information about it. So, if anybody has general information, such as time of doubling, that would be great. Is it polymorphic? What are the growth patterns on plate? etc. Thank you.

Pradeep--We are working with this bacterium also. It is definitely polymorphic--and you can easily think you have more than one bacterium but in fact it forms different stages that really do not resemble one another. We are also looking for literature. Did you run across any papers that describe its nitrogen fixation genes? I hope that you had progress with this earlier. Jim White
i have isolated Bacillus tequilensis from epilithic biofilm. I need its detailed role in biofilm formation or functioning. if anybody has any paper related to it then share it for me.
