Use glass bottles instead of plastic bottles. Use biodegradable materials instead of plastic bags. This can minimize plastic use.
It is not so easy not to use plastic in our modern society. Can you live without plastic? Your PC, shirts etc. are made of plastic. Important thing is to stop to discharge litter including plastic garbage and POPs into the ocean. You have to collect our garbage completely and burn it perfectly. CO2 emissions could be reduced by CO2 abosobging material. Unfortunately the plastic recycle system does not work properly and costs too high. Like Sweden, you could collect garbage from all over the world and generate electric power. This idea seems very well.
Let us look back to the situation in the community and society when plastic was not discovered yet. May be we can get good ideas and probable solutions from it!
