Data mining involves all the strategies that contribute to making sense from data. Building Logical agent is often difficult because the developer requires posses the complete knowledge of the agent and that is only possible when the environment is deterministic, fully-observable and known. However, when these attributes are unavailable we can only make the development of intelligent system possible by gleaning model from dataset relating to the system. That is the role of data mining and machine learning. Artificial Intelligence is the automation of intelligent behaviour in artificial system.
